"RIDING AMERICA LIKE A CHEAP PONY" is a full-scale timber frame house
installation. Based on the artist's 2D works, the house is a scenic domestic land
of memorabilia made from neighborhood dumpster-derived objects and found
timber. Mock Rifles, games, and beer symbolize the hard currency and real
spirit of the Great American Experiment.

Special thanks to architect Matthew Johnson, “Build it Green,” Lower East Side
Printshop and to the team of artists: Dorothy Lyczek, Talia Shultze, Magdalena
Marcenaro, Jason Lucero, Patricio Schmiegelow, Meghan Fitzgerald, Nicole
Devens, Jenn Cortes, Alison Ward, Lilah Freedland and Alexis Hubshman.
